This was commisioned by a co-worker of mine. She insisted on having a hot pink Space Invader blanket after seeing my first one. I didn’t think hot pink would be the greatest color for this, but it looks alright. All that matters is that I got paid and they like it. My hands hurt like hell, but it’s done! I took row by row pictures. Thought it would be fun to show the progression. What should I make next?

I’m currently working on a commision piece which is another Space Invader blanket, but hot pink instead of green. It’s gonna be uuuuuuuuuuuuugly, but it’s making me money! Do you all have any other suggestions of blankets to make? 8bit designs would be simple to transfer to a blanket!
It’s been awhile, I know. My second favorite past time, crocheting, has been taking up a lot of my time lately. So this is what I made thanks to inspiration from Salzmafia.Com!
What do you think? Is that cool or what?! Even my cat (seen in the bottom left corner) thinks its awesome! I may have a potential buyer for it, but I will find out this coming payday whether or not they are willing to pay the $$ I’m asking for it. If not, I will list it somewhere online. I’ll be sure to Twitter the results of the sale/listing!
If you’re curious how it was made, I basically made a bunch of granny squares and sewed them together. Below is the pattern I made and followed:
I didn’t count how much of each square I did, so you’ll have to count it out on your own! Heh.
I’m working on yet another 8-bit blanket, but I’ll save that for another post.
