In a recent stroll through Twitter I found a gamer that was interested in trading links to help with traffic. Who doesn’t like more traffic on their site, right?
So after looking around the site, have to say WOW. It’s always nice to see reviews of games and systems that I never knew existed until recently, like the ZX Spectrum. seeing a MAME cabinet project ressurected is cool too. Check it out!
A Nyan cat blanket, why didn’t I think of it?! I only have it as my phone wallpaper and the song as my ringtone!
I’m finally up to crocheting again and this is what I decided to do. I know it’s not a video game, but oh well. Below are some photos of my pattern making.
And there you have it! Open Office (a poorman’s version of Microsoft Office) doesn’t have a good color pallette which is why the icing on the poptart is not colored. I’ll be buying yarn on payday!
I first tried out Bubble Ghost on a Gameboy emulator awhile back and fell in love it right of the bat. It’s a puzzle game, and I LOVE puzzle games!
Basically you’re a ghost that controls a bubble through obstacles to the opposite side of the screen. There are different things you have to avoid. Spikes, things coming out of walls, candles, random objects, you name it. Your ghost can go through anything cause, well, it’s a ghost, but your bubble pops on anything it touches. You can blow the bubble gently or hard.
That’s it. It’s fun, cute, addicting, and has very cute music. I suggest purchasing this game cause you’ll enjoy it!
This is a list of (almost) all licensed Nintendo Entertainment System games. It’s been sitting in my messenger bag for a long time, hence the rips and folds. I’m crossing off all games that were not previously marked, then updating my Backloggery page. Then we’ll move on to another system! I’m way behind on updating it…
This was commisioned by a co-worker of mine. She insisted on having a hot pink Space Invader blanket after seeing my first one. I didn’t think hot pink would be the greatest color for this, but it looks alright. All that matters is that I got paid and they like it. My hands hurt like hell, but it’s done! I took row by row pictures. Thought it would be fun to show the progression. What should I make next?
I was so excited to work on this and get it done, I could hardly contain myself! I slaved on this blanket, working hours and hours on it to get it done. And here it is:
Pattern picture below:
I’m currently working on a commision piece which is another Space Invader blanket, but hot pink instead of green. It’s gonna be uuuuuuuuuuuuugly, but it’s making me money! Do you all have any other suggestions of blankets to make? 8bit designs would be simple to transfer to a blanket!
